The Jiangyin Concert Hall is part of the cultural‑arts complex on “Folk Music Island,” an island park surrounded by water and a key element of Jiangyin’s Canal Park landscape zone. The project encompasses several cultural venues, including the concert hall, an art museum, and a science and technology museum.

The concert hall seats 750 and features a stage capable of accommodating a full‑sized orchestra. Its layout is designed to foster an intimate connection between performers and audience. The interior presents a flowing, organic form, with walls and ceilings crafted from glass-fiber reinforced gypsum (GRG) panels that enhance visual continuity while allowing subtle variations in depth to shape the acoustical texture. Four suspended surfaces reflect sound down to the audience but preserve acoustical volume in the hall.

A series of rehearsal rooms, classrooms, and dance studios surround a backstage courtyard.

The hall held its opening concert on January 1, 2025, with plans to expand its program offerings under the management of the Jucheng Theater operating group.
